We were happy to share our perspective in this article by journalist Luis Alemany for El Mundo, which explores the unexpected return of Art Déco and its relevance in today’s cultural and aesthetic landscape.

Coinciding with the centenary of the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in 1925, this resurgence marks a shift in how certain tech-driven communities are resignifying the aesthetic values of Art Déco — where the virtuosity of craft becomes more relevant than the industrial codes that once defined minimalism.

This shift reflects a broader worldview: a renewed connection with nature, a sharper sensitivity to difference, and an appreciation for the detail that reveals what makes something truly unique — all of which is represented in the ideal of the “medieval genius”.
